Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
Since 1989, Soroptimist Raleigh, has granted over $57,500 to women in our local communities through the Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women. This awards program assists women who provide the primary financial support for their families. Award recipients may use the cash award to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, childcare, tuition and transportation.
This Fall we will expand our program for teen girls - Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls. Dream It, Be It gives girls the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.
Our Goal is to Raise $1000 in Support of our Dream Programs.
